Introduction:

Madrasa Islamia Arabia Khadimul-Uloom Baghonwali & Bajheri is an Islamic educational Seminary. Its foundation was laid by prominent Islamic scholars, in particular, Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Abdul Qadir from "Raipur", Maulana Mohammad Ilyas ( Founder of Tablighi jama’t), Al-hajj Deputy Abdur Raheem and Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Mohammad Zakariya (May Allah shower His mercy upon them all) in 1351 A.H. corresponding to 1932. A.D. The Madrasa, since its establishment, has enlightened thousands of knowledge seekers, hence, earned the fame throughout the country. The Madrasa has been serving as an army camp for the survival of Islamic religion and has been guiding the Muslim community to the right path out of darkness and hoisting the flag of religious education, defecting the futile forces in its ground. It has been propagating and exercising religious and reformatory activities in its ground. At present, a large number of students from various states of India like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Bengal, Assam and so forth have been getting education in the Madrasa. They are being provided with syllabus books, lodging and fooding facilities at no cost. Because of its founders' noble intention, sincere teachers and forefathers' had work and their sincere efforts the Madrasa has earned fame and received recognition in the area. Many renowned Scholars and towering personalities have appreciated the excellence of the Madrasa in the region.

Aims and Objectives:

  • To provide the education of the Holy Qur'an, Tafseer (Commentary of the Holy Qur'an), Hadith (Traditions of Prophet Muhammad PBUH), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Beliefs and other useful arts and to provide complete Islamic knowledge and serve the religion of Islam with the best guidance and propagation.
  • To adorn the students with Islamic sciences and characters and make them the true representatives of the beliefs and notions of "Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal-Jamam't".
  • To preach and propagate Islamic faith and ideas and defend Islam through writing and speaking and to inculcate the Muslim community with the conducts and characters of the prophet's companions.
  • To provide the students with modern education along with religious education, as it is crying need of the hour.

Establishment and its Background:

Madrasa Islamia Arabia Khadimul-Uloom Baghonwali & Bajehri was established in 1351 A.H. corresponding to 1932 A.D. The Madrasa came into being at a time when educational and reformatory movements were struggling for survival. On one hand, Muslim community was attracted towards education, on the other hand a campaign was launched to eradicate un-Islamic ritual from amongst it. In fact, these educational and reformatory efforts were the results of educational and propagatory endeavors provided by Deobandi Scholars and Darul-Uloom Deoband's movement. It was the time when the roots of Darul-Uloom Deoband's movement had gripped entire India and some renowned scholars in the area were consistently making efforts for the revival of Islam in British colonial India. every corner of India as well as every community was influenced with this movement.

Because of an important, magnificent and stellar role played by our forefathers and because of many other spiritual personalities' selfless and sincere services several Madrasas (Islamic Schools) were established, as a result, the literacy ratio of our community increased by leaps and bounds. Madrasa Islamia Arabia Khadimul-Uloom Baghonwali & Bajheri is also one of them.

The Madrasa is situated about 5 KM to the north of Muzaffarnagar city and one KM to the east of Muzaffarnagar-Roorkee N.H. 58 Road. (Delhi-Hardwar highway)
